I’m Fausto Branco, I’ve been working with development/infrastructure since the 90s.
I developed a lot in Cobol at the time of the Millennium Bug, little by little I migrated to VB3 and SQLServer 6, over time I started on the Web, still in ASP/Javascript.
After then I started dedicating myself to databases, SQLServer, Oracle, etc. As time went by, I gained more experience in development, automation, infrastructure, etc. everything surrounding the Database, no longer being the Classic DBA figure to having more skills.
Today I work most of my time with NoSQL, I really like the Linux environment, DevOps, security, automations, integrations, etc.
Today, I live and work in Portugal, my hobbies are basically everything non-technological, Tools, DIY, scratch cooking, hiking, geocaching, overlanding trips, etc.
